Martina Carty the Founder of Angel Wings Gifts had a miscarriage, and even though she was not expecting to have a baby at that time, she was hugely impacted by her loss. She then went in search for healing for herself and realised that many people around her wanted to help but had no idea how to. She then went through her grief process and documented as much as she could from counsellors, her own experience and others.
From this point she created a book to help others journey through their grief after losing via miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic and molar pregnancy loss (this book is inside all of the gift boxes). She would recall from her miscarriage about the people who did not know how to help her in that time! Then came the Angel Wings Idea; to help those around the bereaved parents to reach out and provide support through Angel Wings Gifts.
Martina having a Human Resources background, has since been able to help organisations to be an added support for their employees who have lost; and help to build a framework for them to add helpful and appropriate support for the bereaved parents. Angel Wings Gifts is a service that prides itself on sourcing sustainable UK products where possible and enjoys helping those to understand the Baby Loss process and the ways in which they can help further.
